This weekend, when I watched the NBC Nightly News program, I saw a heart-warming animal interest story. It's about this woman who rescued stray dogs, rehabbed them into K-9 dogs, and then relocate to work with police officers. She started the Throwaway Dog Project out in Philadelphia. She's also on Facebook, too.
This does give me a future storyline idea for my novels, since most of my dream-based novels came from real life stories. (Venom and Diplomatic Immunity aren't one of them.)
Don't you love these kind of stories?
I've included the link to see the clip to see for yourself. Let me know what you think.
They say you can't teach an old dogs new tricks, but an operation in Philadelphia is proving that rescue dogs abandoned at kennels can be taught to do just that as police dogs.

I have always pondered being involved in something like this. I need to learn more about handling and training dogs though

It can be a good topic for a novel too! People like that woman who rescued stray dogs should be emulated for rehabilitating the dogs and helping them become members of the K-9 unit.

It can be as soon as I figure it out or dream it. Not sure if it'll be a mystery/cozy or a thriller. I agree.
