Cucumber and green beans

Today I picked my first 10" cucumber. Now they will come fast and furiously. Each one I harvest will make more room for the others to develop. There will be more than enough to share. I also harvested a healthy handful of green beans. They are so sweet I could eat them straight from the plant. A good serving for dinner tonight. Lunch will include a sliced cucumber salad. Can't wait for the tomatoes to start turning red.

This is the most delicious time of the year. You can eat healthy and enjoy the pleasure of harvesting what you have grown.

Cucumbers are so easy to grow and yours is a good sized one. I never grew beans as I don't like to eat them. Tomatoes will be good as soon as they turn red.

That's awesome. Fresh veggies is a lot healthier. Less worries about pesticides. Keep enjoying those freshly picked veggies. Cucumbers are great in a salad.

You are enjoying a big time harvest. No need for the farmer's market for you.
