A Comforting Poem

I received a “Thinking of You” card from a friend recently and on a separate piece of paper, she had written the nicest verse. I thought I would share it with you. I don’t know if she composed the poem, or if she copied it from another source, but I thought it was excellent, whoever wrote it. You are my leaning post, Jehovah, My shelter and my rock. You open up the door for me, Each time you hear me knock. All I need to do is ask, And you provide the way. You hear me when I call to you, The times I kneel to pray. Thank you, Jehovah, for your great love, Your comfort and your care. It’s such a joy for me to know, I may seek and find you there. Psalm 23:1

Yes, I really enjoy poetry and most people know that, so they often share with me and I with them.
