Pay attention!

I was headed downtown to go to the Old Bakery like I do nearly every Tuesday. I got off the freeway, supposedly the most dangerous part of the trip. I turned on to 10th street, not one of the busiest streets in downtown, and even less between the freeway and Trinity St. I wasn't even to the first street, Red River, when the guy a little in front of me in the left lane suddenly swerved into my lane! I slammed on my brakes and he missed me by inches! Everything in the back of my car was suddenly up against the front seat! This included 5 tubs of cat litter! As you might guess, I was pretty angry! I came up beside him and all he did was shrug...

Those kind of people don't deserve a driving license. I hope it all went good..

No paint was exchanged, so that was a plus. He'd've been the one ticketed because he came into my lane.

Then he should be grateful that you didn't make a big conflict like suing him or calling the police. And imagine if he was drunk while driving.. Double bonus.. Secured jail for him.

@supervalon well, no accident, no cause... I doubt he was drinking, except for that one event, his driving was fine... besides it was only 1:45 in the afternoon - yes, I know people get drunk anytime of day, but...

So he did notice, after the fact. i bet he was texting, or adjusting the radio. Whatever, it was more important than driving safely.

I think he might've thought someone was coming out into the street. I've certainly had to do that a time or two, but at least when I did it I knew nobody was in the other lane!

Pay attention is right title other wise both have to pay a lot. zen percent attention is needed in driving. I think the other fellow had the tendency to repeat the same deed. He will pay for it then.
