Since the 21st century or even before. Many individuals started questioning the existence of a higher power, a spiritual deity; a god. Scientist and other persons believe in the evolution theory and what have you. So, do you believe in God? If yes, why? If no, what do you believe in?

The sun itself is a supreme being. So there are definitely beings "higher than us" but if you mean precisely God, yes i do believe in God. I mean it's absurd that we were created just by a stardust which is the impact of a Big Bang.

@dyno10 yeah, but which is really sad is that we will never know how we actually were created.. what do you think about evolution? did we evolve from monkeys maybe? might be..

Yes, i do believe in God. God is the almighty, he is the one that created us. But i also think that there are many mysteries that can't be solved

We have always been told, God is everywhere. He is the creator, He is a destroyer. I used to thought a lot about it when I was a kid. There is definitely something, some supreme power that binds everything in place. My thoughts gave me result that Sun binds everything in place. The Sun is present everywhere. The Sun has a great role in evolution. The Sun has the power to destroy as well. Then I noticed something in statues of God (Hinduism) . There is always a halo behind every statue or painting of God that resembles Sun (may be). I am still studying on it. But yes I do believe in the Almighty.

I'm a biology student, a scientist; I learn about how the body works. I've learned evolution throughout my school life (and creationism, but only ever in RE classes where it should be) and seen the evidence that supports it. I completely accept that evolution is the correct answer to how we ended up here. However, I've never seen any definitive proof that the creatures we evolved from weren't created by some 'higher power'. To me, there is no conclusive evidence that states there is or is not a god. If he/she/they ever appear and can prove themselves to be god, then I'll believe it. For now I'm open to the possibility, but I don't currently believe.

I do... I believe in God. I have felt his peace, when I was very afraid.

All my life I have been struggling with identity and balance and trying to survive the latest hurdles through my way (literally) and finally this year the universal system message told me that I have acheived balance. After that, I understand many things and I am uncorruptable by simply utilizing dark energy now. In the past it would have controlled me if I used it too much, and now it doesn't matter how much I use it. Of course, using light energy is also a factor that won't erase the darkness. At the point of balance, you are able to feel what it is like to be a god, and perhaps there are only so many of us that are gods ourselves in a system that looks for just one, when the answer is with us all along. If there is a god, I'm not going to sit idle and wait for it to show up. If there is an evil, I won't let it have its way. I'm prepared to fight both sides to forge a world that I want to see. In that case I am a god myself. And that just opens up a whole new perspective of confusing! So yeah, I believe in a power that humans don't know, but also a natural order that exists apart from any concept of a creator. Once you live and die for 14,000 years you start to grasp a little more about what this world is. :P

Sometimes it's difficult for me to contemplate so many generations before us all roaming around in heaven. However, the creation of the universe has to be attributed to some entity and there have been certain things in my life that I attribute to a guardian angel (my grandmother). I do believe in a supreme being and it is not simply because I was raised Catholic. I have questioned my religion many times but I still choose to believe in God.
