Took A Day Off

When I left work last night and came home to can more pickles eggs I sworn that I would take today off. I did. Yes the phone continued to ring and I asked Tony to take the calls each time, he did and did my job as a landlady Giving out answers and okays for them to do things to the houses. I have not canned any today. I took a 4 hour nap, okay I went to sleep that is not a nap! I will walk the dogs and cook dinner but it feels good to now work for a day. How was your day?

@andriaperry Every time the chickens work overtime I think of doing it. Hubby does like them, bet the kids would too.

@andriaperry - I've been in lots of bars that sold them out of those giant jars over the years, but I've never had one.

We all need a day off from time to time. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I had a good day as well. It's quite warm now. It wasn't hot or humid earlier, but I'm not complaining. It could be worse, and I do enjoy the summer weather.

It's already Wednesday morning here and I plan to stay in bed all morning before going to the office before lunch or maybe after lunch. I feel a little bit strange staying in the house as I feel so unproductive. My schedule has been so hectic that I"m not used to not doing anything related to my business anymore.

A boiled egg, vinegar and spices. Tangy, sprinkle with salt . I love them but I tend to eat less and less eggs.
