Am I being petty?

Pretty sure the answer is yes, but decide for yourselves. My downstairs housemate is a bit of a nightmare. Lovely person face to face, but not someone I would ever want to live with again. For the whole year she's played her guitar pretty much every day, the same three songs over and over again at all times of day, very loudly. It's starting to get on my nerves a bit (compounded by a lot of other things that have been going on involving her that I don't really want to get into) so today, every time I've heard her start playing, I've started blasting my music. Is that bad?

That's an understandable reaction. Go on doing this (if you can't have a serious conversation about the topic). Buy ear plugs.

It just seems pointless at this point in the year, I won't have to deal with it in like 3 days time any more. I've had my headphones on all year so no one will be disturbed by my music/so I can actually hear it, but now I'm busy and can't be AT my laptop while I'm packing so it needs to play out loud
