As far as I already saw, many mylotters are native English speakers. But, it's not my case, situation which I share with many other mylotters. So, in my case, when I open Mylot, I also open another page to use google translater, because I often read a word which I don't know. Google translater is a great help to understand better some phrases and terms. Even when I want to write a post, sometimes I have to look for a special word how to say it in English. Beside, I open a notebook where I write down all the new words to learn them afterwards. That's the way I use to enhace my linguistic knowledge. What about you? What do you do with the new words? Do you use mylot to enhace your English skills?

I look up for its meaning then use it in my conversations. Yes, it's one of the reasons why I'm here on the site.

I am always trying to figure out new words and I applaud you for having such a smart approach to increasing your vocabulary. I think it is important to try and use the words you are newly learning the meaning of so that you remember how it may be used in context. I think it is fantastic for people to learn new languages and I intend to really work towards improving my Spanish in the near future.

Spanish is a very beautyfull language which I usually use to write my books and articles. I am also working on my French skills to enhace it, as I loved how it sounds since I was a child.
