I just got home from signing all the paperwork for the apartment. I'm so excited. I can start moving over right now.
So as soon as I posted the Daily Bible Study, I ate, grabbed my keys, went to the bank, got a money order and went to the apartment complex and signed my life away for the next year.
So my time is going to be severely limited until I am completely moved in, particularly on Monday when I will be at the apartment by 8 AM for the housing inspection and then in the afternoon AT&T will be there to get my Internet all hooked up so I can communicate with everyone again on my new computer.
It's going to be a very busy month, and I can't wait to be completely settled in my new home. It's a end/corner apartment, so I have two windows in the master bedroom. Totally awesome!
I did take pictures of all the rooms, which I'll add in comments. This first one is the outside of my entrance.
Good news is that they have an apartment also available immediately in the same 300 block, so I handed my son the application and told him he will need to get the deposit and get over there right away so he can get the process started. The reason the apartment is available is that the application for it had been denied. So if that isn't a God thing for my son, I don't know what is.
I know it will all work out for him, if he gets it taken care of today. There is always someone looking for an apartment, so he needs to hurry. I hope I impressed that on him when I handed him the application.
So anyway, I'm all ready to move, I just need to finish packing and I'll be doing that today, so you won't see me very much, but I'll hang out right now and interact for a little while.
How is your day going? Any good news on this last Friday in July? I hope you are all able to make payout or coming close so you will make it.

@Jessicalynnt That really helps since I can put all the stuff I have in the closet now in one and use the other for my clothes. That wall space will have my tall dresser.

Thank you. So far it's going even better than I hoped. My older son showed up on my doorstep this morning out of the blue with a friend, and just when I needed help getting the first load over to the apartment.
This is another look at the master bedroom. It has two closets and two windows in it. So I couldn't get the whole thing in one shot.

@Jessicalynnt I have a fun shower curtain I'm taking with me. When I have it set up in the bathroom I'll take another picture of it, but it will be awhile before that picture is taken.

I just posted a couple shots of the master bedroom. So you'll need to look back for them. Hard to get that one in one shot with two closets and two windows in it. I took three pictures of it.
Here is the first of the bathroom. There will be another for the bathroom as well.

@Jessicalynnt Yes, and it's much bigger than the narrow desk I'm currently working at. I'll use this desk as an el on the side of the drafting table, which will be convenient for all my writing needs.

@jstory07 That would be nice. My son is taking over an application tomorrow. I hope he can get in. I see no reason why he won't. There's an apartment available in the same block of apartments I'm in. So he would be close by, and I like that idea.

Took a load over this morning. The first of many I'm sure. My chair, TV, and my computer are over there, and I have the computer unpacked and set up. So it's not a temptation any longer sitting behind me as it was. It will be all hooked up on Monday.
This is the pantry in the kitchen, so I have plenty of room for my dry goods. It's actually located in the hallway between the two bedrooms.

At least there aren't a lot of steps for you to have to climb. Are you on the lower or the upper level? I'd not considered that your son and grandson wouldn't be staying with you any longer, I hope he did check that out right away

He's got the application filled out, he just needs to get it turned in and he's going to be moving with a friend from work as a roommate. So I picked up an extra application for him today for his friend. He'll get it turned in on Monday. I hope it won't be too late for that apartment either. They both still need to be approved.

Yes I will be. Started moving some things over today, and my computer is unpacked and set up, just not hooked up yet. That will be Monday. My son still needs to get the application over to the office manager. He'll do that Monday since the office is closed on Sunday.
