Why Indian middleclass family don't gave respect to their daughter in law?

I saw in many families in India.. But its not just India.. everywhere this is somewhat common..

I think it has got more to do with the level of education and upbringing of the family members. If you go in North East , those people respect a girl child more than the boys. You can do your own bit , if you have a mother who was treated the same way by her mother in law but still would treat her own daughter in law worse then you gotta make her see the fault in her actions.

You are generalizing it which is not correct, lots of Indian middle class families treat their daughters well. Just look around you and you will find that situation is not that worse. Also such problems are not limited only to middle class in India, the lower income and higher income families too have such domestic problems.

This is a topic European members have nothing to say about.

this is not the problem with middle class..... this is the problem of every class......... everybody need a good working machine for their home........

Yes. They are bounded to their pity thoughts, don't want to change it. When anybody points it out, they would rather say that its their tradition and you must follow them. They cannot change themselves but would force daughter in law to change.
