White House Scandal

The White House is a well know place to just about everyone in the world. Scandals happen everywhere and every moment of the day to everyone no matter who you are. Poor, rich, young and old all alike. Everyone at some point or another does something that later they regret due to others finding out and causing a scandal which we want to bury like yesterday. Now for the average Joe these things blow over fairly quickly most time with avoiding the people who are involved in the scandal or relocating. Which brings me to my next thought about scandals. Some scandals are bigger than others and depending on who is involved they can be extremely devastating. Like a scandal in the White House involving politicians especially the president. I started watching watching a show on Netflix called Scandal which is just about that scandals that happen in the White House. The show depicts the scandals that go on there and how they cover it all up. Who fixes the scandals? They are called fixers they make he scandals go away by any means necessary Now I know that the show is fictional. However those things do happen the question in my mind is how much of this stuff really goes on in real life? How many people have actually died and their deaths made to look like some random occurrence or the people who just fall off the face of the planet never to be seen or heard of again.

I'm a big fan of the show! And I'm willing to bet that most of the stuff that you see happening in the show really happens in real life in the White House. There's no doubt that politics, wealth and power cause people to think they are outside of the laws and moral codes of our society, and think they can get away with anything. I'm sure it's pretty common in the White House. And it's sad that there exists an entire group of people whose sole job it is to cover these things up or destroy anyone who tries to bring them to light.

@OKennedy Our government is well past your yard and front door already! They are inside your house, watching you on your computer, your phone, hell, even your tv probably! And now that all our new appliances are starting to be internet connected, the damn government is going to be spying on us through our refrigerators as well! LOL

It's just sad because we shouldn't fear our government they should fear us but that is not the case and anyone who believes that it is how it should be is silly. They are crossing lines all across the board even into our very basic rights of parenting in my opinion but I don't really have any way to change what is because we all know that our votes don't really mean anything. Right now I feel as if it stays out of my yard and away from my front door I will let bygones be bygones.

When it comes to government scandals, they are always covered up. That has been going on for many years. Long before I was born.

I am sure that it will also be around for many years after we are all old and Grey. I don't think that we will ever really know anything truly relevant they will tell is what they think we need to know for security reasons. There are some people who don't want to know.

@OKennedy That's true. They do have to keep some things secret. But when it comes to the benefit of man, we all should know. Even the good tech advances they have they will not share.

@inertia4 I think many of us want security and safety and we don't want to really know how they achieve such a thing me personally I know its all dirty and for the most part I don't want to know because I know that if they confirmed the notion that I really have no privacy I think it would upset me I like to sometimes be oblivious. Kind of how its rumored that the government listens in on all calls randomly for about 15 seconds and if nothing relevant to national security is heard or any key words they move on I can live with that but I wouldn't want them sitting there listening to all of my conversations in their entirety and then later be used against me. I know the safety of the whole supersedes the safety of one but I still have expectations of privacy where I rest my head and call home.

I believe those fictions were inspired by real life scandals in the White House.

I thought it was funny how real to life it seemed in coincidence. The two term president who cheated and now the wife is running for president Bill and Hillary. A few other coincidences too but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

It kind of makes you think twice about wanting to visit DC doesn't it. I have always wanted to go in the white house like a tour to see it but after watching that now mmm not so much I would want jet li and snipers and a whole entourage of protective detail like the secret service but plain clothed lol.
