How Often You Wash Your Hair?

Some people preferred to wah their hair every other day. In Philippines, it bacame our habit to wash ot every day. After shampoo, I apply conditioner and once a week, nourishing it with an repair control gels. Now that I am showcasing a curly hair, I always put a mousse on to hold its body. How about you? Do you wash it daily? What products you are using with your hair?

I hate products with paraben and sulfate so I stay away from those. Sulfate fades away the color of my hair. I'm fond of changing my hair color often. Keratin treatment once a month. Organic shampoos mostly and sometimes l'oreal shampoo and conditioner with no sulfate.

@wiLLmaH when a shampoo has no sulfate they flaunt it. You can see it immediately on the label. Those on your picture contains sulfate and paraben.

As I am in the Philippines these few months, I have to wash my hair everyday but I donĀ“t shampoo it everyday and use olive oil for conditioner to make my hair soft and shiny. Using shampoo everyday will just ruin my hair.

I wash my hair every other day. I was told by my dermatologist that washing too often is more harm than good. People who wash their hair a lot to get rid of oil are drying out their scalp and producing more oil.I agree with @toniganzon about the product, I only use organic shampoo and conditioner.

Good choice Anna, I only wash my hair if I am going somewhere and then often times I simply use baking soda to wash and vinegar to rinse, it works well for my almost fine hair.

You are exactly correct @LadyDuck I won't use any kind of soap on my furbabies usually I do not wash my cats and the pup just loves to play in water in the summer so that's all she ever gets.

@rebelann I also use vinegar to rinse, the hair look more shiny. Our hair is not very different than animal furs, washing too much with aggressive products is not a good choice.

I've been bald for as long as I can remember so no hair care products for me. I do have beard and moustache products - wax, balm, and oil. My facial hair is the only hair I have.

I wash it every day that I exercise. My hairdresser said that too much washing strips the natural oils. I use salon shampoo and conditioner, and get a deep conditioning once a month from my hairdresser. After all, our hair is our crowning glory!

There are many natural products are there.. depending upon the water we should decide daily wash or less. coconut oil masage and later rincing with mild shampoo is common in india. some adds amla, olive, castroil, etc. for beter strength. once in a week washing with egg white is a good one for softness and dandruff
