I have this habit of ignoring popular TV series in their heyday and watching them many years after. In fact I only started watching Prison Break recently since its inception eleven years ago. It was such a big hit in 2005 that everyone I knew talked about it. Good ol' me was living under a rock back then with my own set of priorities. Presumably fans were not happy when FOX decided to kill the story. It's just my luck because the whole gang is having a come back after it last aired Season 4 in 2008. Can't wait to see Michael Scofield and his shirt tattoo.

Alicia Florrick of The Good Wife is my favorite heroine nowadays. One of my friends spoke highly of this legal/political drama which was first shown in 2009 and well, curiosity got the best of me. The title is too bland for my taste and it must have failed to enchant my imagination back then.What's so interesting about 'good wives' anyway? Jk Then I watched Season 1 and surprise, surprise- I got hooked. I love how Alicia, the disgraced wife of a state attorney who was caught in a sex scandal and later jailed, managed to pick up the pieces of her family's life and made a come back extraordinaire as a formidable lawyer. Not to mention the other compelling characters which make the series even more palatable. It's now on it's seventh season.

I guess I'd be head-over-heels in love with The Walking Dead a decade later. lol

Yeh, that seems to be the case with me too, I will get into shows after they are cancelled or years later-but in a sense, well, I don't know, I like getting dvd's of entire seasons of shows...that way they are there, they may not be new...but they are new to me;)

You are missing a lot if you aren't watching TWD!
In some ways, we are the same. I'm catching up on Suits, Sons of Anarchy, and Breaking Bad whenever I can.

I am a bit like that too with books and movies ....It will probably take me another 5 to 10 years before I can sit down and read Harry Potter and watch all the Harry Potter movies ... I am still enjoying watching the Pretty Woman , when I'm done with that, I will get the fifty shades of gray...I'll be about 85 years old then if I'm still alive...lol..

I haven't seen the new Prison Break yet. But I'm watching now American Gothic, Marvel Agents of Shield, Mr. Robot, Zoo, Shadowhunters, Game of Thrones, and My Crazy Ex-girlfriend.

Got me interested in that movie, Prison Break. It could be very good so you were hooked into watching it. I remembered my husband watching such prison-themed movie "The Rock" featuring Sean Connery, Nicholas Cage,etc. who are among our favorites. He is the one who is always watching movies on TV; I do not have much time.
