For those who read a short biography about Charles Bukowski, this probpably does' t make sense. But, now, I gonna explain you why I say it. Think about this, his poems were rejected over and over again but he never stop sending these to his editors. He leave a secure job were he has working since 5 years to completely start writing. In his poems he more often focus on how mankind are losing hope but there's still people who worth to know. He prefers describe poor places but he always see beauty in those places. The fact that he finally become into a successful writer is another proof, in my opinion, that was because in the depth he always maintain a positive mind about be hearing by million of people, a thing that always were refuse for him. What do you think?

Yeah, he's a good example. I know people who did what he did, leaving their job to follow their passion, you also need a bit of luck, but if you work hard with a positive attitude miracles actually happen.

But in order to seize that bit of luck you need to be prepared, luck pass over for those who are not prepared, do you think so?

@Hackmilitant Definitely, you need to believe in luck first and be ready to get advantage of it, may it be time or skills. Then that's like double luck: luck itself and luck of getting it at the right time.

He tired and sick of normal people, that's why he preferred to go those insane places, and also because he love being drunk everyday and writing so a lot of poems.
