Hello everybody. I'm nature spanish speaker, but now I'm learning English. I not know everything yet, but little by little learning more and acquiring more confidence to speak and write in English. I think English is not too difficult, I think Spanish will be more complicated for those who are not nature Spanish speaker, because of our long grammar rules. What's your opinion?

This is a good start for you to learn/improve your English skills. I took Spanish back in high school for 3 years.

Hablo poco espanol. I took Spanish courses during my college years. Likewise, I enrolled myself at Instituto Cervantes and took short term Spanish classes. I'm a Filipino and some of our words were taken from your language.

I have not learned Spanish, but have heard a few words now and then. I think at my age it would be hard. I think your English will do well here on myLot and you will learn a lot. I imagine that there are other Spanish speakers here.

Of course, that is one of my sources to learn English. By reading and posting things in English I consolidate my knowledge. I think the more easy way to learn a new language is by enjoy the process. And think you can learn whatever language you want, only need to be constant and do not get stressed.

Welcome to myLot, as rule #4 says, don't be afraid to post here although your English is not perfect: not even native speakers always speak it properly and you don't need to know everything, there are dictionaries for that. I'm an Italian native speaker, I learned a little of Spanish at school and it was quite easy, of course, our grammar is similar. Writing is a great way to learn and improve a language, as you learn on the go and you are likely to not forget what you learn.

Thanks for your comment, that's exactly the same that I think. I see people who are learning English, but they never attempt to use what they learned and they never improve. And, of course, Spanish and Italian are too similar :)

I know Duolingo, of course, that app was one of my English tutors xD. I learned with it a lot of words in English. Other app that I used was Wlingua, it is help me to learn English grammar. But in order to know how to use what I learned the most powerful tool were the movie, series and cartoons that I see in English, and also the post that I read on Internet. My advice to you is to do the same, and try to learn Spanish in a funny manner, and then to use what you learnd no matter if it's so slow yet, that will help you to consolidate your knowledge and grow after that.

That's right, English is easier to learn than Spanish as it hasn't got too many rules. I started to learn Spanish when I was fifteen and now I domain it better than my mother tongue. Spanish is a very pretty language and I love reading and writing in Spanish.
