Friends Feed Quiet About Trump

This after a year or more of hearing how great Trump would be as the next President. Many of my friends on Facebook are in or were in the military. Then, many of them also lean to the right.
They love to show how proud they are of the military. Every since Trump made some pretty ignorant comments about the Khan family and their late son, the friends feed has gone eerie quiet. Not a peep about Trump good or bad.
That is not to say the news feed has gone eerie quiet. That is what 90 percent of their posts seem to be about. With in those posts you can see all the Trump supporters trying to defend him. Happy to say it is none of my friends, as of yet anyway. 
So, could this be the first signs of the beginning of the end for Trump? I do not think he can win if he pisses off people that love the military and served in the military. (I tried to come up with a better word, but only one that fits.)
Trumps latest trampling of the military, besides his comments of John MCcain and the Khan family, not to mention the money he stole from the vets from his fake fundraiser came as of right now.
People are growing tired of the trophy generation. What does Trump do? He excepts a purple heart from a lieutenant colonel. To be fair, the lieutenant colonel gave it to him. Trump claims he "always wanted one. He was happy the man gave it to him because "this way was easier." What does he do with the mans purple heart? Sticks it in his pocket like it is a coin.
I think the rumors of him being mentally ill have some truth to it. Mr Trump do the right thing and give the man back his medal. You did not earn that. The guy really makes me want to cover the youths eyes. Do not watch or listen to him young bucks. He is setting a real bad example.

What does he want the purple heart for - for praise that he has it ? It was given to him just because he wants it , not because he has done something honorable while doing his duty in the military , so it's a shame that he has it . Good thing , he gave back the medal .

Just to clarify further because not sure how many people from other countries understand what the purple heart is and why our military gets the medal in the US. It is indeed being honorable, but more than that. The only people that get them are the honorable and killed or wounded in war. About as disrespectful as you can get.He has not given it back as far as I know.

Interesting indeed and kind of think everyone is going to have a hard time picking this one. Third party rumblings seem to be getting more steam.

The Man Donald Trump is a very wealthy man but needs to brush up his diplomatic skills.Having heard what he said about some African leaders,it seems he has the capacity to be rash.He is the direct opposite of Barak Obama.Where are his manners.Personally,he is not fit for the exalted office of the President of the United states of America going by the way he talks.Wealth without sense of decorum is an accident waiting to happen

I personally think wealth has been his whole problem his whole life. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth and never learned the way the world really works. They are the first people that would die in an apocalypse. lol
