My Day is a Mess (A Poem)

Goodness gracious,
I must confess.
My day has been
A bloody mess.
I poured orange juice
In my cereal bowl.
I walked right into
A telephone pole.
My shoes are
Caked with sticky mud.
My mind is a blank
Like Elmer Fudd.
The toilet is overflowing.
The smoke alarm is sounding.
The garage door won't open.
My poor head is pounding.
My dad is a mess.
I don't know what to do.
Perhaps I should take the day off
And float in a canoe.
