Ocd illness or a joke?

A lot of the people who make fun of it are the ones who don't really know what it is. People who think just because they are clean, organized, and neat that they have OCD and that's not what it truly is. It is hard struggle that people go through and it isn't a joking matter to someone that has a chronic case of it.

I think some fun is okay, it may help to relieve some of the struggle, as long as the sufferer has a good sense of humor. Of course the jokes should be smart but not offensive. You can't even take everything seriously, that's unhealthy. At the same time you can't push a joke too far, I agree.

What things about OCD? It's an Anxiety Disorder. But many people have some OCD habits to gain a sense of control without having true OCD.
