She comes to my house keeping an idol of Deity in a basket and asks for some money. She comes once in 15 days . Generally I oblige her and give Rs.50, 20 and sometimes Rs.100 also. Last time when she came I gave her Rs.5/- . She got anygry at me and demanded Rs.50/-. I told her to take whatever was given. She said no and kept it on the threshold of the house. I took it back and told her not to come again at any time in future.
Since, then she has tried many times to come and ask for money. I just told her that I am not a millionarire to give her Rs.50/- and asked her to leave the place. She felt sorry and pleaded for excuse. But, I felt that the lady does not deserve for it.

Same incident had happened with me in past. There's an old lady who comes to our locality and asks for money. I used to give her 10 or 20 rupees, once I had given her 500 rupees for her medical treatment, I also offered her some food. But one day, I had no money with me as parents were out, I just gave her 5 rupees coin and she started uttering what not, she expressed her disgust in worst way possible. I felt so hurt, I genuinely respected and cared for her, just because I could not give her good amount one time, she behaved so aggressively.
