My dad is an artist, and this is one of his original paintings that he did of a space shuttle...

It's so well made that looks indeed like a photo. What kind of paint/color did he use? And on what material?

He uses oils and paints on canvas.

@sabtraversa - I know...some of the paintings I will be sharing, will show such detail...it's mind boggling. I remember watching him as he would paint ships, and he had a very steady hand, when he painted each detail. I was impressed.

I appreciate the compliments. I have plans to post many more, but only like to do a few at a time, so others will have a chance to enjoy his work, as well. So stay tune...there is more to come! :)

I couldn't even dream of painting something like that. It is difficult to imagine that these space crafts have become antiques in time.
