Annual renewals for health coverage is like making sure you ain't dead yet.

I hate it when I get a notification that my insurance needs renewing. I then wonder, do they think I am dead or not the same exact person I was 12 months ago? And worse than that, they notify you about renewing 6 months before you have to do it.
I am glad I don't have to renew my driver's license every year, my library card every year and my bank card every single year. It could get really bothersome.

I read a post about a man, I think Canadian, who had a service-connected disability. He lost his legs in action. Every year, he has to fill out a statement saying that his legs are still missing. Did they expect them to grow back? Things are more ridiculous every year.
