Bummed about the offers here...

You know... I am all about supporting an organization. But I have noticed that the few offers I have tried to do on this site, has really been deceiving. I will complete the quiz and/or questionaire: but after it is over, it redirects me to do more offers, and/or sign up to be placed on numerous email/mailing lists. My email box is aleady overflowing. It ends up taking 20 to 30 minutes more, and sometimes even longer, that I end up never finishing, thus wasting my time, and never receiving the cash, I was suppose to receive. I just don't have the time to spend that long on each offer. Kind of bums me out though. Because I really wanted to do some of these and receive what they were offering. Sigh...

If you're going to do that sort of thing it is always a good idea to have another email so as you don't use your personal one.

@infatuatedbby I get maybe one spam email per month as I keep my personal email away from the internet sites.

Although I like the idea of the offers, I mainly stick with writing posts and responding to others. I find that to be the main reason I joined MyLot in the first place years ago. You don't have to do the offers.

@teresatrotter I totally agree. I haven't done one in a long time now. but I am sure some people here do them.

I quit altogether. I only got paid for one. The rest of them kept sending me to one page, and another survey, one right after another, that after 30 minutes, I got tired and quit. Most of them do not have an ending. Why would I want ot spend an hour doing something that gave me 3 cents, when I could do more posts, and make much more than that...

Some of the offers go through but a lot of them I have found weren't good at all. Now I just focus my time on discussing.

I haven't taken the time to even look at the offers. Sounds like maybe I won't, either.

I doubt that it's a question of supporting an organisation. It's all about business imo.

I only did one during my first week. It was a survey and I find it time consuming.

I didn't even know myLot offered anything like that. I just thought it was a discussion website.

@teresatrotter That is nice to know, but it they aren't working for you and the rest of the people who have commented then I don't think I will try them out.

If you touch your username, a drop down box should appear, and the fourth one down will say offers, and how many are right beside it.
