Indian roads come in all varieties,even in the major cities.You do not know when there will be gas or water connection,or road repair.Infrastructue in India is not good,so far.Once a rain falls,the roads get damaged.This has been the regular case in the city i live.
A sturdy vehicle like TATA SUMO should be the best for Indian roads at present.
