A Good Compromise Will do

Sometimes a compromise is necessary in order to generate some peace. When a party is unable to agree and not agreeing creates more stress then go with "compromising." It's better than being consumed with stress. The whole agree to disagree doesn't work in all situations. Compromising doesn't mean that someone's position is forfeited. It simply means that one is willing to allow a decision or decisions to occur. Of course no one should allow people to run over them but when compromising is in the best interest of the decision maker. Then compromising should occur. Some may take advantage of a situation if there's no understanding about why something needed to occur. We can't have our way at all times so we'll have to learn to adjust but avoid being taken advantage of.

I try very hard not to let anyone take advantage of me. I like helping people and the more help I give them. The more help they want.

@Teep11 Yeah, it generates peace... if not misunderstanding, sometimes, to both parties.
