I love dogs. And there is a site, that I think is pretty cool. You can vote for dog of the year. There are eight dogs to choose from, and each has its own short story. One dog was rescued from a high kill shelter and became a Freedom Service dog. Another dog was a K-9 dog who entered a home where a father had a gun on his two children. The dog got the suspect away from the gun in the midst of gunfire. A few of the dogs were hurt in the line of service, and each one really deserves to be recognized. There is a small cash prize, but I think it's worth it to support our canine heroes. Some might find this post silly, but I figure it couldn't hurt to try. The link posted doesn't work. Try typing
