Do you support gay marriages?

I've been reading on the news about gay marriage, again that propaganda, and i got the idea for this. Sorry if somebody gay here, and get's offended, but i'll be direct here, i definitely won't support ever the gay marriages. If man was supposed to multiply with another man, then kids wouldn't exist. That's what even God made,if his intention was to allow men have intercourse with each other, he would never create women. Maybe you are not religious but i can't find any logical way to support this either. Also what do you think, what makes men get attracted and bonded to another men? In the old centuries, there was a low chance of being gay.. Or in fact there weren't gays.. You'd be dead by tomorrow if it was found out.. It's people life, yes i know, but at least, i can accept if they bump themselves like donkeys in hotels and stuff, that will be okay as long as is their privacy, you can't do anything in that field. But they wanting even MARRIAGES? Law? No, i will never support that. I don't want our world to grow in a misguided community, many kids will see the example so that's 1% of the reasons why i don't support gay marriages. As for having a boy-friend in public or stuff, it's totally perfect as it doesn't harm other people interests I hope i was clear, what about you, do you support Gay marriages? EDIT: Please don't attack me

Sorry fellow myLotter, i'm stating that i'm really sorry. I laughed on the part "set us back and knock us down". I'm sorry, i don't have anything against gays, in fact i'm 50% neutral.. I understand if the government abolishes a gay couple to marry, then it's like abolishing a straight couple to marry.. So there should be equality, after all, we all people.

Yes I do. I know several gay couples and I would never have denied them that right.

I'm currently against the adoption of children by gay couples. I'm not sure whether my stand is based on "natural" factors or on the fact that I think our society isn't ready for that. I'm afraid those who have two parents of the same gender will be bullied. However a marriage doesn't always imply the procreation. There are plenty of married straight couples who can't have children for biological matters. I'm in favor of gay marriages because I believe all couples must have the same rights. Here in Italy we decided to call gay marriages in another way to differentiate them from the straight ones. So now all couples have the same rights, except the ability to adopt step-children (that can be chosen by the judge in a court). Yet some mayors will refuse to marry gay couples, the situation isn't really clear over here.

Yes, those kids have the right to choose, besides the world needs mentally and physically strong people! By the way you are right, all couples must have the same right. But as i said, they have the right to live together, but not LEGALLY married? There SHALL NOT be law for gays to marry :))

I understand your point but I hope no one will be offended with this post. Well, I don't support gay marriages either but maybe "to each his own" is the best here. But I'm impressed for your courage of posting this discussion here. I hope no one blocks you hahaha.

Lol thanks very much for your support towards me! I believe many have blocked me.. Haha i'm joking, it seems that no one has blocked me yet.. By the way you're right maybe everyone has the right to get married, but at least they should forget about having kids.

If their marriage doesn't affect you and your life, it is all right. It is their life they can do whatever they want I guess...

@supervalon Most people mock the countries which are behind when it comes to gay rights. They are like "Oh, look at Russia, you can get beaten up if you're a man holding the hand of another man".

Damn true, but i'm viewing from the country's perspective. It will affect bad our country's stability. In short words everyone'd mock our country, but i know that we are not first and we will not be last that'll accept gay marriage. So i see you probably thinking now that i'm either religious freak, or a wanna-be-ignorant person, but no i just don't want to think that it seems right 2 men each other raising a family. Besides how are we going to increase the Fertility in our country by having gay marriages

. I personally believe in true separation of church and state. It doesn't bother me at all if gay people get married, and I completely support it. But I understand why certain denominations do not perform gay marriages, and they should not be forced to do them.

I'm not qualified to say either way. It would however I think require getting to know a couple that are gay and even then one couple might not be the same as another. I passed a couple walking once in the summer. But it was only in passing.

If they are happy and meant to each other, then why not let them be? There are so many marriages in different churches, but failed and broken, no more happiness. They will be responsible to answer God, but God is a loving and forging God . LGBT does not play havoc to the world.

@supervalon IF everyone in this world was gay, yes it would be very hard to reproduce but that's not what's going on. Some people are gay, some people are straight, some people may swing both ways and maybe others just want to be alone period. We have a mixture of people on this Earth. I'm not gay, I'm not religious but I support gay marriages ALL the way! I don't see anything wrong with people being gay or being married to who they love so dearly. I will not attack you because these are your personal thoughts and opinions. But I find it very interesting how at the end of this discussion you said and I quote "Please don't attack me." I find it funny how you are worried about people attacking your opinions and don't want to be shunned about how you feel yet you find it perfectly ok to mock people who just want to live their lives being happy without feeling guilty. No person in any marriage let alone a gay marriage is harming you. Just let people live their lives. I'd be more concerned about the rapists and murderers out there wandering around.

@VivalaDani13 Pretty much "I am mocking you but please do not attack me because its just my opinion to mock you!" Pffttt... You call names to people and then expect to be what? Praised for that? Really? Really?

I don't really care if gay people get married. That is their own business, and if they want to have a life together, they may need the "married" status for insurance and financial reasons etc. I do, however, get a little tired of it being constantly shoved in my face by the media. There are more interesting things going on in the world, that I would rather hear about. I don't think that as a group they deserve that much attention and drama.
