Dumb Eyelash Move

When I was in my early teens I decided to pluck all of my eyelashes. Don't ask me where I came up with that idea cause I don't know myself. So there I was plucking away and yes a few tears appeared because that hurt. Now years later I believe that is why I have thin and short eyelashes. What do you think?

I think the roots of your eyelashes went traumatic because of what you have done. Here , most mothers would cut the lashes of their growing up babies while asleep , in the belief that it will grow longer and curled . Yay !

@velvet53 It might be worthwhile - or even a beautician.

hmm, most odd that'cha'd do such? i dunno if'n that'd be the cause 'r genetics. i've lost my eyelashes many times 'n they always come back the same so i dunno 'bout'cher theory. that bein' said, my eyes're now waterin', lol. i've heard tell that coconut oil helps with eyelashes though. jest dab some'n a couple times a day.

I never heard of that but will try it. I don't know what made me do that. I remember mom used to pluck her eyebrows so maybe I got things mixed up. All I can do now is laugh about it.

In my country, moms cut their babies' eyelashes once to make it grow longer. I've never heard of plucking though.

I am no good with trying to make my eyebrows look nice so I just gave up on them. They are what they are.

Pulling on an eyelash can really hurt. Eyelashes are a blessing to me.

I learned a lesson from it. It hurt but I was dumb enough to keep plucking them.

No. That is not the reason. This is only hereditary. just plucking the hair on the chin one will not have think beard, if your logic is true.

I shed a few tears just reading this. Ouch! That had to have hurt! Have you tried the medication they have for growing lashes?
