Monsoon bike rides

Don't you just love that feeling of freedom riding on two wheels, especially on a monsoon day one day after it has rained. Semi wet roads, fresh smells, cool wind blowing through your hair. I live in a really green town and rides to nearby places are extremely enjoyable because of the beauty of the area. My favourite thing to do to calm myself and clear my mind is to throw my leg over my bike and go where the road takes me. Not knowing where I'm headed is part of the joy of it all. A simple chai somewhere I've never been before is the best feeling ever for me. Riding and exploring has given me so many stories to talk about and so many memories to cherish. I'd love to hear some of your riding stories.. Fellow bikers do share!

Me and my husband have joined a group of motorcycle riders and once a month, our group schedules a 2-3 hours ride (one way) to a certain tourist destination and I absolutely love the entire journey.

I've always been more of a solo rider. Just my thoughts, my bike and I. I really enjoy riding with groups at times too, so many things to learn from others riders. Two wheels truly move the soul don't they?

I used to take my dog for a walk even when it was raining, I loved the water on my face, the wind, the fresh wet air. I took him to play in an abandoned place, then, I came back home. My dad saw us wet and shouted at me, I pushed him back and told him I was all right and that I didn't care. I had a towel to wipe the dog and a towel for me to wipe my face and clothes to change.

I have a hero bike and I love to ride through tea gardens and pass over small bridged over running streams. Sometimes, I stop the bike and drink the freshness and inhale the pleasant smell of the tea leaves.

I already had this experience just two days back. I took my bike and went for Pushkar Bath. Here are there experienced the thrill of the wind, rain, and some chill and also tasted different kinds of foods.
