What kind of movies do you like the best, and we can probably suggest. I really never watch the creature, monster, or scary ones.So my old lady recommendationsm ightn ot make sense for you.

Rise of the planet of apes and orphan are nice movies I have watched recently.

Afflicted was okay, I enjoyed the way it was directed (videoblog, fake documentary). 
I'm not much into sci-fi movies, I think the last one I watched was Despicable Me. 
Fault in our stars was awesome, dramatic, works as "don't cry" challenge. 
Well, I don't watch many movies, to be honest.
But I guess IMDb helps most of the time.
