Anyone Want Some Snow?

No, we haven't received any snow. I just can't wait for our first big snow. We have so many trees around us that I know it will be just beautiful. That's why I chose this picture of snow covered trees from Pixabay. I've already had my coffee and breakfast and I've sent off a few more postcards. I have a letter all typed up for my brother to sign. After it's signed, I have to scan and email to financial aid. They needed a letter with a hand signature advising what percentage of the bills he pays for me. Hopefully this will be the last thing they need from me before they make a decision. I need to start the dishwasher soon but I have to wait for my brother to wake up and take his shower first. Sometime today I have to wash my comforter and sheets. Right now I am free to spend some time on myLot. I wasn't able to get to my notifications yesterday so I have to work on them today. It's amazing how many you have once you miss just one day. It will probably take me at least an hour or two to get them done.

I'm ready for snow because I like the looks of it but I just hate driving in it. Luckily for us work is only a 5 min drive so not that bad. I had 2 cups of coffee already this morning and still exhausted. Going to make for a long work day. I catch up on notifications quick as i dont get that many. Hope you have a great day.

oh dear I bet you are a fast at typing. I don't get a lot but it takes a long time for me to catch up it seems. don't know how the more popular mylotters do it.

@Blondie2222 Luckily for me, I don't have to drive in it. I would probably think different if I did. I'm finally caught up on my notifications so if I do them first every morning, I shouldn't have this problem again. I hope you are feeling better now and not so tired.

NO NO NO to snow. I don't ever want it. I don't ever want the cold. I am sitting in my house with goosebumps. I wish I could take all my devices and just sit outside where it's hotter.

I know that there are a lot of people like you who hate the snow and the cold weather that it brings. I think it depends on where you live because normally to me when it snows it just doesn't seem that cold. Now if I lived further north where temps can go below zero, I would think differently.

@marsha32 I wish I was that way. I probably was when I was younger but now that I have been through menopause, I get hot easily.

@simone10 I have to admit that snow on trees look beautiful, but it sure does havroc on the road unfortunately. This morning we have a very thick frost on the roof.

@marlina Yes it does affect the roads very much. Fortunately for me, I don't have to get out in it if I don't want to since I no longer work.

The notifications always take a lot of time, even if I do not miss a day. I would prefer not to see the snow at all. I see that the mountains around us still have a little snow on the top.

@simone10 Not as much as the north of Switzerland. The past winter has been very strange, we only had a few inches, but the past winter we had as much as two feet of snow.

@LadyDuck I guess I always think of Switzerland as getting a lot of snow. I hope you have another light winter as far as snow goes.

No, I definitely don't want any snow, thank you! I have a lot of washing out on the line. Yes, the notifications do take some getting through if you miss a day.

It would be a lot more difficult for you to hang clothes out on the line if it snows. What do you do during those times? Hang your laundry inside to dry?

@simone10 I use indoor clothes horses and the radiators.

@jaboUK I remember clothes horses. My grandmother had to hang her clothes outside to dry and when it rained, she used one of those also.

the snow looks great to me! I would feel so good right about now! As for notifications, it's funny when you're trying to get them down and they start coming back at you faster than you can get rid of them! lol

Well, I think it is high time we get supplied with First Snow ever in my country, Kenya, lying on the hot bed of equator, hot and wet through the year but never freezing and snowing. Believe me, the only snow I have ever seen with my black eyes is from the movies and on pictures lol. Anyway, I hope you are doing fine and I wish you a lovely day...

@simone10 Experiencing some snow for even a few seconds has remained my wish but who knows maybe changes in weather patterns will make this possible some day.

From what I have heard, we usually get a lot of snow. We just moved here in March so we are going by what others have said. We were told that they usually always have snow at Christmas.

We could use some heavy snows up in the mountains as that creates California's water supply.

It's nice when you start Mylot and find many posts to read and to answer. Postcards, how I loved them. But, I havn't sent or received one for years. Usually, I sent letters and postcards during my childhood. It seems like it was in another world and in another life.... nowadays, all is sent through emails, messengers, whatsapp, skype... the emotion and feelings are completely gone. And regarding the snow, I love the white winter and Christmas time. With the heat around her, I wished I could have a bit of snow to get a bit refreshed.
