Hold on to it before you lose it!. Practice thankfulness#1

It is sometimes careless of us, we wait to practice gratitude till we lose something. Our gratitude gets a reload of positive thankful vibes when we lose a part of our health or wealth. I once had a sprain due to which I limped for a few days. It was in those days of limping that I realised I am blessed that I can walk. When I get healed of a cold, and my breathing is free of congestion, I realize how much of a blessing it is to be just breathing, what a gift it is to be alive!!

I love this. :-) I try to think of things to be thankful for everyday and I like to look for the positive in every bad situation. It all depends on how you look at things! :-)

Exactly...that happens mainly when we lose our health than when we lose wealth...we would then have a thought that we could always earn it back but what if its some serious health condition...feels terrible to even think of it. Had been going through some physical ailments the past few months, during which time I felt exactly like what you have described here....but then once we are okay and everything gets back to normal, the feeling of gratitude tends to fade away gradually, which is not good of course, but that is how I feel
