Unfortunately, it happens. Until recently I would tell my grandson, "if you start whining or pouting, I'm going to put you back in the car and act like I forgot you were in there." Then I heard on the news that it happened again in my area. I felt so bad. This is really a sad event. My kids were loud and vocal, and usually woke up when the car stopped, thank goodness.

People who do that are not responsible at all. They should not bear children and be parents.

You should never leave you child or pet in a car. I feel like the only time a kid should be left in the car is if they are like 14+ in age, because then they aren't a child anymore and they know how to use the windows and AC. The only time a pet should be in the car is if someone is in the car with them. If my boyfriend and I take our dog some where and we have to go somewhere not pet friendly then one of us will sit in the car with her or walk her around outside while the other one goes inside.

Young children should never been let unattended in a car. The parents are responsible to take care of their child and make sure they are safe. You hear about it happening more and more it seems.

If you don't want to bring the kids in somewhere, then don't bring them on the trip.
