From MyLot To The ER Last Night

Last night ,hubby kept complaining of tummy discomfort,l did not know how bad it was,since I'm tired of asking him to see a doc,l stayed quiet and kept doing my thing. He visited a doc last month for the same problem and since they could not find anything,they gave him laxatives and sent him home. At 4am,he could not hold any more so we went to the ER.I thought it will be a quick trip and was hoping to be back latest 6am. Test after test but they could still not tell what is wrong,we stayed there till 10 am. On our way back, l was so sleepy l decided not to sit on the bus less l pass my stop. Could you believe it,l fell asleep while standing,it`s only a 13-15 minute drive and i guess l was asleep as soon as we entered the bus.Glad hubby was there to let me know we have to go out. Came in,took out my jeans and was asleep in seconds. How has your sunday been?

Thanks,they just gave him pills,he has to go for further tests on tuesday.

@miniam is the pill working?that is what they do.give you some pills.What was the pill for? If I am asking too many question.You do not have to answer them.I do not like the idea.Just give me some pills.

@amadeo Lol,he got pain killers and 3 others, one is a laxative the other 2 l dont know exactly for what.They feel he needs laxatives but they are totally wrong. No you are not asking too much,you can always ask,if a person feels it`S the wrong question,they dont have to answer

@miniam lets pray nothing serious, i prefer to know something no matter how bad than be left thinking or in the dark, let's claim it now that it is not serious and do keep us updated.

@louievill Same here, nomatter how bad, l prefer to know and think of how to deal with it than not knowing.Im sure he will be fine,he got enough pills to knock out a horse

I hope your husband is fine now and that the doctor can find the reason of the pain. My husband had headaches for more than one year and a half. They made of kind of tests and found nothing. Well, one day, as it came it disappeared.

I am glad to know that his headaches went, l too hope hubby will feel better,It`S the 3rd time in 2 months we had to see a doch.Only this time it was emergency room

My Sunday has not been so adventurous as yours. Falling asleep standing up on a bus you must have been exhausted. How is he felling now?

Sorry to hear about your husbands stomach issues I hope they figure out what is wrong soon and take care of the issue so he don't have no more problems. Sounds like he might need to be refered to someone for this.

I am so sorry about hubby but glad that you were able to get to sleep when you got home. It is disappointing that they can not find out what the problem is.

Also could not have thought it possible but it seems if you are tired enough,sleepy enough then you can sleep on your feet.

Not bad, but a bit hot. I have the AC one, probably the last time before summer's over. Wish I could get rid of some fruit flies though. Hope everything's all right with hubby.

@miniam No, as soon as I fell asleep, I started to fall to the floor. So I awoke with a jolt and caught hold of the counter. It happened a few times.

I hope it is nothing serious. That is what we called in Germany "seconden Schlaf" . You sleep suddenly in a second. I have experienced that when I was still working hard. I arrived home from work, had tea on my lap while sitting on a couch. Suddenly the full tea felt on my lap. I was asleep shortly after sitting down on a couch.

I also could not imagine it.It`s like my brain went to sleep,im not even sure if my eyes were open or not, what i know for sure is l was not there till we reached our stop and if l were alone, l would have missed it.

So did they find out what is wrong with your husband? That's some trick, sleeping standing up - horses do that but their knees lock.
