Afternoon tea .... Mediterranean Style ...

After a nice afternoon walk with our dog Bosun ...., criss crossing Streets, and dodging direct sunlight..., we called into our favourite  watering hole .... and had refreshments ... call it afternoon tea..., as it was about 4 ish...., but, it was not dainty cakes or muffins ... it was Mediterranean..., Spanish tapas... We had Albondigas in a tomato  salsa,  ( pork meatballs),  we also had fritata, (omelette with vegetables in),  and some chicken in a curry salsa..., and lastly, some ensalada rusa, (russian salad), which is diced vegetables, with hard  boiled egg,  and small chunks of tuna,  in  a mayonnaise like dressing,  and of course some sliced baguette. ..., it was all very nice. We were going to have quiche with salad at home..., but ...., we changed our minds... and, if we get a bit hungry later...,  ( as we do not usually  eat that early ), we can have a little bit of fruit and rice pudding..., so we will have enjoyed a truly multi -  national  menu today...
