I'm sorry I can't hang around this morning and interact. My son will be picking me up soon to go back to the house and finish everything up. His schedule right now is 8-4 so he'll be here soon.
This is the last day for getting the moving done and of course we ran into a snag. The U Haul I was able to get - the smallest one, doesn't come with a dolly or a ramp and we need both to get the washer and dryer on as well as a few other heavier items.
I was also supposed to have the U Haul back by 10 this morning and it doesn't look like that is going to happen, so when we take my son's things over to the storage at 7 when he can get into his unit, we'll pick up a dolly, and he has a friend coming to help with the larger items. I just don't know what time he's coming to help as my son didn't tell him we needed to have the U Haul back by 10. So today is going to be interesting.
At any rate the move will be done today and I can then call the person to come for the home inspection for tomorrow.
My son is also having an exit bonfire tomorrow night.
I will get to all the notifications, which are now more than 7 days behind, but I have them in my e-mail, as soon as everything is finished.

@celticeagle The unpacking is finished and I'm just about done downsizing as well. Now to get all that out the door. Then all I need to do is hang the pictures.

Actually it was the 31st before all was said and done. I was given a few extra hours Wednesday morning to get the last of it taken care of. Yes, hectic is a good word, along with frantic and a much stronger word as well to cover the overwhelming sense of getting everything done.

@celticeagle Now that would be a feat. At least there aren't any more holidays until November. I'll be in the pool tomorrow. So six days a week in the pool and I'm now down 10#.

Well I hope everything goes well with the move and you get things back in time. That's what I hate about moving is the rush of things and not knowing when people are going to show etc. I hope it goes smoothly and then you can enjoy the rest of your day

It went a lot better than I hoped for. We did get the U-Haul back on time. I called to say I would be a bit late, but they counted it as on time, since I wasn't too late getting it back. The move is done now. All I need to do now is get it all put away and I'm doing that a bit at a time.

Does anything ever go to plan? The move is finished, and I am moved in completely. Now to get the unpacking finished. No, I haven't been here as much as usual. But that will soon change as I get everything unpacked and settled.
