A beautiful day in my neck of the woods and in my(Lot) land

I just watched to the local weather forecast and while it will be hot and humid the next few days, we will cool down to only 90 degrees by the weekend. Wow, that's sweater weather for sure (joke).
We did have a little bit of rain the last few days, just enough to keep the grass and the fields nice and green. The farmer across the road bailed hay last week and then fertilized and his fields are already green and growing nicely. Hay is basically weeds and we all know weeds survive any kind of weather.
It should be a beautiful day here in myLot also. I plan on being here off and on and I'm sure I'll run into you at some point. Enjoy the day wherever you are.

90 isn't bad and if no humidity it will feel wonderful and the pool water will cool down a little.

@LadyDuck Never any kids around here. The closest are miles down the road. We really only have two neighbors so most of the time it's peaceful.

They say 'maybe' a storm today but such a small chance I don't believe it. School here is almost ready for a break they've been in since early this month.

Yeah it was 93 yesterday and we went to the state fair and was sweating all day long but we had fun. Once the sun started going down it was alot better. I have to work today so won't be on until I get home around 8pm so I'm just mylotting now until I gotta get ready in an hour. I'm looking forward to this weekend only going to be in the 70's here which is much cooler then it has been.

70's that's really cool. I don't want it to go that low - we use our pool well into Oct and it's mid 80's then which I'll take. Don't work too hard.

Yes, it was a lovely morning earlier, here. It wasn't quite as humid. I went shopping and by noon, it was muggy and real hot again.

I was in the pool an hour, it was getting very humid and if it gets too bad I get a headache so I can inside.

We are still well below normal, but we get a little here and there. That farmer watered his field (with a truck) after he fertilized so that helped. It was the 4 inches the other week that really helped.

Thanks! It is a beautiful day here too. No storms. The sun appeared and the birds fly without fear of thunderstorms and heavy rain. I was assigned to judge a dance contest and I enjoyed it a lot. The dancers were high school kids. My eyes feasted on their cheerful and angelic faces and colorful costumes.

Our temps have cooled down considerable these past few weeks. A few days here and there where the mugginess tries to crop up, but nothing like it was before. It's in the mid seventies here. We did get about three to four days of decent rain, so things are green again.
I won't be here much at present as I'm working on saving things off a site that will still stand, but that will be locked to me since I'm downgrading my membership. That's my current priority. Maybe next month I can play more here during the last days when everyone is here more.

If you don't need it don't you turn if off? Our heat and a/c is one unit - have to switch from heat to A/C so heat can't come on in summer thank goodness.

@AbbyGreenhill they are one thermostat. So when the house went below 17 C, the furnace came on. We don't have the AC come on automatically as it's so rare we need it

It's a rainy, humid morning here in the east coast. I have the day off today so I will be spending a lot of time on here. Just me home alone with the kitties so it's going to be a pretty laid back day. I will see you around on here. Have a great day and happy mylotting.
