Chikungunya.

Chikungunya is widespread nowadays during rainy season.My mother has been infected with the same.This disease is caused by mosquito Aedes agypti or Aedes albopictus.She is having sever joint pain and fever.We have consulted the doctor.He has prescribed medications which we are giving her. I have taken off from my college and is taking care of her.I just hope she will be fine soon.

I know that the Aedes Aegypti can bring this disease, it's horrible. I hope that your mother can feel better soon.

Yeah my mother has been ill past 8-10 days. We took her to the hospital for the tests but it was all clear ,the reports stated she is all fine. Her joints are paining badly and her hands and feet have swollen too.
