Today was a bad day

I am very depressed today,I realized that I didn't work hard enough,I just want to play,In fact, there are a lot of things need to be addressed. I often put myself in a passive position ,I feel terrible.I can no longer think of myself as a child,a student, I need to prepare adequately for the future. I must have a plan of life,At least I should finish my thesis ahead.then i can have time to find a job.so I want to give myself a time limit. I must complete the first draft of a paper end of November.Self discipline!!

Don't feel depressed, it will only make your work harder! What you need is to establish some goals, as @lealuvy2j said and what I would add, a reward for your efforts. So for instance if you establish that you need to write 5 pages/day - which is totally feasible, I ascertain you - you may set as goal that then you will get your reward. This may be anything from eating your favorite chocolate to going out for a walk or viewing your favorite youtube channel. But you must allow yourself that pleasure only after you complete that goal. This way you'll see that each day instead of feeling depressed you will feel motivated by the perspective of getting your small treat. Good luck with your thesis!
