How I wish that most of my time will be spend at home. Staying there relaxed and stress free. To have a maid to do the chores for me. And have everything I need and plenty of money. Many women now works like men. Spending eight hours in the office, and reaching home late. Gone are the days when women stay at home With all the duties inside the house they perform. Women as wife and mother should work. To earn money for their living especially for the children. Too many expenses and too many responsibilities, Should be shared by a man and a woman, In our society nowadays. Agree or disagree? That women should work too and earn like men. Equality, they say. Women : is not for home only... Photo credit: pixabay.com

My mom is an earner, my sister too and when my husband told me to stay at home after our wedding, I gave it a try for 4 months. For 4 months I obeyed his request. And after that, I confess that if he will continue to tell me to stay at home, I will go crazy. Haha! My mom talked to husband too to let me work. :)

For me it's okay to stay at home if all of the family needs are well provided by the husband. But if not, it's better to earn on your own and share on the family' s expenses.

Yes, I agree that women should work same with the men. I was working for more than 20 years and retired. Now my husband is the only one working but I have business of my own.

Still earning even retired. That's what life is. As long as we can still work and earn, we should not stop because we cannot live if we just lay down all day and do nothing.

Since expenses are going higher every year women should work as well as men. This will make women sane to not just stay at home. Men can do house work. It's not like the olden days where women stayed at home and men brought in the money. Life has changed.

I agree with you. Life has changed. It became more difficult to live. So both men and women should work and share on everything, the expenses and the works at home.

In China, we say: Women can hold up half the sky! Now, women have to go to work just like men.

I think, that situation of men and women happens in any part of the world. In our time today, both men and women should really work hand in hand to have a better life.

Men should also learn to baby sit their child and learn how to cook. Marriage should work both ways for men and women.

Very well said . Having a family is a shared responsibility. Men should also do the work of women. And women should also learn to do the work of men.

I think it depends on the women on HOW they wish to work. But yes...responsibilities need to be shared just the same.

You said it right. There's nothing wrong in working women. It is now normal to see them on streets and in the office.
