Learning the Violin !!

I am happy that my daughter has the joy of learning new things. One of her brothers decided to buy her a violin and pay for some classes. So I ended up, going with her, and we enjoyed that part of the day, learning how to..... Next steps is next week...I do learn in the same time as she does, but without the violin, funny thing... She for sure still practicing her electric guitar at home, self taught, she will have a lot of feathers under her hat. Pixabay photo.

Violin is a very difficult instrument. And tough on the collar bone! My sister took violin lessons when I was taking piano. It made the dog howl, lol

The dog was probably impatient. My daughter will have a shoulder rest to help to not hurt her collar bone.

I'm glad your daughter is learning the violin. I love the movie starring Meryl Streep called “Music of the Heart”. It's good to encourage children to play instruments and/or appreciate music.

That's awesome Im currently teaching my daughter I used to play but can't any longer because of an injury to my hand left behind some permenant problems.
