As they come to mind I have already shared a lot of different events in my life. Looking back into the past I would now like to introduce you my hubby Martin’s daughter Mara. She is a young woman of 27. She has a brother too but that is another post. Ever since she was little she would always want to be with her daddy. Her parents were going through a rough time and heading for a divorce. Martin lived here in Riga and his wife in Jelgava. She had the children with her most of the time but they always found a way to get back to Riga. Unfortunately Martin's wife passed away some years ago. Presently Mara is still living in Jelgava with her grandma. A lovely and very independent young woman. She has a wonderful man with a small boy that she is very much in love with. Otherwise her heart belongs to her dog Marco. When she doesn’t hear from us for awhile she always calls to be sure that all is fine. I still remember the times when she would ride behind her brother Andris on his motor scooter and I always said a prayer that the two of them wouldn’t run into anything. You just couldn’t keep them still it was either that or playing in huge sand dunes we have nearby at a shooting range and coming home covered in sand from head to toe. Another favorite activity for Mara was climbing up high into trees and then shouting down that she was there. Daddy’s little girl – Martin and Mara
