Which is Your Shopping Style: To Bargain Shop for Great Deals -- Or to Spend a Bit More for the Long Run?

September 4, 2016 8:26pm CST
Are you a bargain hunter? Or, do you think that we tend to get what we pay for, and that you would rather spend a lot more for quality purchases, than to waste it on things that, in the long run, are not worth the initial bargain deal? Or... Do you tend to fight tooth and nail, for the best deals in town, because, you believe that it is quite silly not to do so, because, not getting a great deal, is like throwing money away?

I buy only what I need. That leaves me out of bargains. And I check for quality because I want my things to last.

sometimes branded items are a waste of money. Like the t shirts I told you about. got a load for the same price as I would have had to pay for one brand name shirt...and the quality I got is good too, easily as good if not better than a brand name.

Well, I shop around. For example, right now I need a dvd player. So I've been looking around to find a really good one that (hopefully) will last a while, but at a good price. I don't mind taking my time to find just the right one.

I generally know what thing I want and what brand so I look around to get it at the best price. Sometimes buying branded goods is a good thing...other times you could buy a generic item which is of the same quality and way cheaper.

I'm awful at bargain hunting. I don't necessarily have an issue with shopping, but I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to hunt for what I want. Ever been to a TG Max or Marshalls? Those are my nightmare. So most of the time if I walk into a store and see something I like, I'm going to buy it regardless of the price (within reason). I think that it's unrealistic to always get a deal though, someone has to buy things at full price.
