Cleaning out the Closet

Since my husband took time off from work when the baby was born and also bought a water truck things have been tightening up on the budget. I have been doing my normal stay at home stuff but I need to bring in a little more money this month so I decided to clean the closet up. One reason was I needed to clear the clutter another reason was of course to make a couple extra bucks. I threw away some junk and made a pile of things to sell. I am getting ready to put things on my local yard sell page but I really wish I could figure out eBay! I have sold a few things on there but shipping always gets me! Unless I can send it in an envelop I always end up paying to much.

I used to sell things on ebay all the time when my daughter was a baby. They raised fees and made things more difficult so I quit. I really need to get to selling some things on there again. I sell on the local sale groups on facebook but I just never feel like taking the time to list anything. My house needs to be decluttered.

@farbuoloxusy That is how my sister is. She has too much stuff for her kids and her but she always finds good deals or free things and can't pass them up.

@shaggin Yes! I have way to much stuff and I just keep adding! I have a room in my garage full of just shelves of things I got free or cheap. I don't want you to get a picture like the hoarders its at least organized haha!

My house always needs to be decluttered. I swear I bring in way more then I take out. Although I did fill a whole outside trash can today.

I think that it is a great idea to sell things that you don't use. It is a great way to make some extra money. I really need to do the same thing. I have sold things before but I mostly do it on the local online yardsale sites. I have never sold anything on ebay before but I think the postage would make it not worthwhile.

I live just out of town so I always have to drive in to meet people when I sell and it always makes me nervous that is why I wish I could figure out eBay. I see so many people making a lot by doing eBay but I know I personally never buy anything if I have to pay for shipping.

@farbuoloxusy ya I would be nervous about meeting up with people too. Most comes to my place and my fiance is here or he goes with me if I agree to meet up with them.

@Happy2BeMe I usually try meeting at a public shopping center but I hear about far to many bad meets up I just worry.

I'm not sure about selling stuff that I have on my closet, there's this one item that's been in the drawers but I haven't thought about selling them.

I never buy used clothes but I know they sell easily usually.
