~Took A Little Longer Today~

We just got done with school work a few minutes ago which is why I wasn't here until now! It was a good day, we got a lot accomplished. =) In Science we learned about Weather Patterns. In Social Studies we learned about the Pilgrims and Indians. In Math & English we did worksheets. And in Health we learned about dental hygiene. The GI doctor finally called to tell us my husband's appointment for the colonoscopy is Nov. 28th. I asked why it's so far away and they said their extremely busy right now and that's the soonest they could get him in. Great, we won't know much for a while then until that's done... I hope you all had a good day so far. =)

Way too long to wait, I thought the American system was better than here.

@marlina It is horrible here trying to get an appointment with any kind of specialist.

I would not accept that appointment. I'd either fight for one that's much sooner or find a different doctor. That is outrageous.

@NJChicaa Sadly there are not a lot of doctors, especially specialists that accept his health insurance.

@NJChicaa It is. I am having issues trying to find an OBGYN too... It's ridiculous.

I had a doctor's appointment earlier today and I need to see a specialist about my Thyroid. The earliest that particular doctor can see me is November 1st. They did say that I can call on a regular basis to see if there is a cancellation that would get me in there sooner. Maybe, you could do that and see if there is a cancellation where your Husband could get in for the appointment sooner.

That sounds like a nice, comprehensive study schedule. I think I've mentioned, I was homeschooled through middle school and high school. (It seems like an eternity ago.) I always loved getting my new books for the school year. Nov. 28th seems like a long time to wait, but I hope it works out.

It takes so long to get any medical appointment. It is so frustrating when you are waiting for answers. In the mean time if there is something wrong it isn't helping it by having to wait so long for results. Sounds like school is coming along good for the children. That is wonderful.

@Happy2BeMe Yeah, finding a specialist here is like pulling teeth! It's hard to find someone that accepts his insurance-the ones that do make you wait FOREVER. Yes school has been going wonderful this year, I am so excited! =)

It is good to know that you got your school work done. It is a shame that your husband has to wait so long for his appointment, but such is life.

Did you ask if he could be put on a cancellation list in case someone has to cancel a appointment. Sometimes they can do that.
