Well, At Least I Got its Head

This had the potential to be a really great photo. This heron was looking for frogs in the creek that runs along the outside of the park and, with the scenery around it, would have been a beautiful shot.
Just one problem. That same beautiful scenery also kept the bird hidden really well. The only working angle required me to be right in front of it and it was gone long before that happened.

Great picture. When I fish I see these birds glide across the lake and swoop down and catch fish. They are a beautiful bird, very graceful.
