What are you most proud about your country?

As other people can tell, the Philippines is popular with its natural resources, hospitable people, and corrupt government. But I am proud that, with regards to politics, our president is really doing his job in order to change the negative image of our country. With regards to our natural resources, a lot of foreigners still prefer to visit in our country and continuously appreciate its beauty. As for the Filipinos, in spite of poverty, we're still moving forward.

That's nice to hear. I'm very proud of the diversity we have in India, and still identify ourselves as one, though we are divided by geography, religion, language, culture and food. But the political system and religious establishments are in shambles. Corruption is eating our motherland away. Sometimes I wish I could erase all the negativity I could see in the society but it isn't that easy.

@EMbakes I think it's safe to say corruption occurs in some extent or another in almost every country, and it's very evident in third world countries like India. Here you can see uneducated party hooligans dictating and controlling the educated officials under the politics of democracy. Everything's wrong, and most of the people turn a blind eye to this. I would be lying if I said I cared about this all the time too. It really is a sad condition.

@ria1606roy I guess the Filipino felt that sentiment right before our current president stoop over. Our country was just filled with so much crimes, violences, and corruption. I felt bad for the president 'cause he needs a lot of issues to resolved and still, some of our countrymen are being fed by the false news brought about by the media.

I'm proud of the fact that in the UK we have a health service which is free at the point of delivery, which means people can always get treated for illness, no matter how poor they are. I am also proud of our literary traditions and our beautiful countryside.

Wow! Aside from that, your country is also very rich. It's a good thing that your country focused more on health issues.

@EMbakes I love my country being diversified and there are many languages in our country. Though the common language is Hindi but it`s not the national language. IT workforce - We make second most populated nation and at the same time we have a huge IT workforce. Current Prime Minister Modi- Our Prime Minister is one of the most talked about person. His policies and business approach to bring investment in India is the top notch liking ever. Food- As we have diversified land, so our eating habit varies from state to state. North India has a staple food as wheat while south and East indians consume rice.

The Philippines is a very beautiful country with thousands of islands, large or small. It is a country that I long to travel to after I get retired from my work or maybe before my retirement. In our country there are a lot of huge and good-looking bananas in the supermarket and they are expensive because of the good quality of the bananas.

@EMbakes Yeah, it has tags on them with the words Philippino Bananas. Though expensive, it tastes good, much better than the local bananas.

@williamjisir66 That's why it's expensive, because we have to export it. If you could be able to visit our country, you're going to love our mangoes also.
