Favorite "Car" Songs #4 - "Little Red Corvette"

A no brainer, #4 in my Favorite "Car" Songs series, a perfectly obvious choice that you had to know would show up eventually: Prince's 1982 hit "Little Red Corvette." Prince seems to show up in quite a few of these series', and rightly so. He released a ton of great music from 1976 until his death earlier this year. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Prince won seven Grammy's and an Academy Award. "Little Red Corvette" was, according to Wikipedia, Prince's biggest hit to that time, peaking at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100, and a posthumous re-release landed at #20 on that same chart. (Fun Wikipedia Fact: Stevie Nicks wrote her hit "Stand Back" after hearing "Little Red Corvette," on which Prince played keyboards for her.) "Little Red Corvette"has been covered by The Nylons, and the Gear Daddies. As much great music as Prince released over the years, this remains one of his most popular songs.
