That giant can of Planters Mixed nuts should be called Mixed almonds with other nuts.

I have counted 10 almonds for every cashew and 6 or so peanuts. I like Planters. Don't get me wrong but I find that the moment I opened the can I was aware of the number of peanuts and almonds inside and yes, I enjoy both. But it seems they deliberately spare the number of pecans and Brazil nuts. Okay, there has to be a reason for this. Of course. They want you to buy the can of mixed nuts so you can enjoy the salty flavored , mixed nuts. I do know they all taste pretty darn good anyway. It's just that I expected more cashews and pecans. That's all. Oh the price would have been 20 dollars for that? Okay I would have been willing to pay for that but I had no choice. I went for the 15 dollar special. They were honest about one thing, however, the label does in fact read, MIXED.

Once, I found a can with extra cashews (a whopping 20% more!) I bought it for my grandma, who loves cashews.

I observed than in bags of mixed nuts, the nut that is most abundant and cheap in a certain country would have the most number they would not put a lot of almonds if that was made here since we do not have almonds and it's quite expensive, I would probably find more cashew.just my thought and observation.

I know what you mean. I like those mixed nut cans but it does seem like there are fewer pecans and Brazil nuts than there should be in the can.
