Flimsy Fashion

Summer is approaching its end in central Europe. But what an end it is! I've just read in the newspaper that up to now September has been warmer and has had more sunshine than the whole month of June.
The streets are still full of flimsily dressed people. To be honest, these people are mostly of the female persuasion. We're at the end of our summer holidays and they show off their tanned limbs.
We don't have school uniforms in Germany. Should attending school half-naked be allowed or not? Interesting as this topic is, it's not the one I'm presenting you here.
What is my topic then? It's a test for your eye sight. The first member who can tell me what is special about the photo may climb onto the winner's podium and will get a medal in the shape of an eagle's eye pinned onto their lapel.
I've got this photo in my folder for some time. I can't remember where I found it and thusly can't give anyone credit for it. From the houses in the background and the canal I deduce that it was taken in Amsterdam.

No actual clothing (apart from shoes), just paint?

That is very flimsy, it doesn't leave much to the imagination.
I have to say, from what I have noticed, it is the men that dress inappropriately in our area.
I saw 2 men, separately, out in public with bare chests, no shirts on.
My husband and son would never even go in their own backyard like that.
There was a time when our son was a teen and would try to get away with that in the house, but he was quickly corrected by both my husband as well as myself.

@asfarasiknow I wondered that myself when I first looked at it.

@MALUSE I feel a bit uncomfortable at having zoomed in so quickly - but not as uncomfortable as the lady would have been if those pants had been real.

That could be weird (from a conservative person like me) and she should rather wear flat shoes or slippers to match it!

There have been quite a few people walking around Europe this year with painted on clothing. although I dare say there are some who should firmly remain covered up!

well, seeing that the "paint job" has been reviled...i'll comment on your first question..
I have attended a school where we had uniforms in school to prevent such problems , the decency of attire was main. It was made clear that no part of the uniform can be improvised on. Still there were girls with altered skirts that were way to short for school. Shirts that were a size too small. It was obvious they did this for attention...and since it was school....attention is what they got.
But i would have thought that all schools would still have a dress code. ...if not a uniform.
With 7 year old's having iphones of their own, there is too much exposure...ruining the innocence of children and teenagers, something they need to have. Have you seen the pictures online of 10 and 12 year old girls trying to look "hot"? and for some reason all boys need to wear their pants WAY to low.

That low pants thing is called "saggin" here and I hope the fad is over. Enforcing dress codes in US schools is really difficult.

My guess , it's about the way some women dresses so scantily .
Even in my younger days where i have a great body and legs , i haven't tried walking around scantily clad like that . My father would kill me .

The 'outfit' that the woman is wearing is actually painted on her body @MALUSE ?

@MALUSE What gave it away for me was the fringe on the shorts. Real fringe would be loose and floaty looking.

That's very impressive. Not sure I'd have the nerve to just wear clothing made of body paint, but it looks good!
