I feel that in the recent times, people have grown intolerant to a great extent. They get easily offended and most people just cannot take a joke in the right way. Do you think people are becoming more and more intolerant?

I don't think so. There have always been tolerant and intolerant people. People who understand humorous remarks and others who don't.

But don't you think there are more intolerant people in the recent times that it is used to be, say 10 years back?

I don't know whether it's a new thing, probably just that we're able to see more examples of intolerant people in these days of social media. There are still many people who listen to other people's point of view and who keep their minds open. Sadly there are always going to be some narrow-minded people who refuse to bend even a little.

Yes, you are right. If only those people looked from other people's point of view, the world would be a much better place! *sigh*

Yes, that might be one of the reason. People are so wired that they snap at the smallest provocation.
